HOW HOME BATTERY STORAGE WORKS
A home battery stores electricity for use when you need it. It can capture surplus solar energy during the day or charge from the grid during cheaper off-peak periods, then supply your home when electricity prices are higher. Angus Renewables designs each system around your property, energy usage, existing solar panels and chosen tariff. Optional power-cut backup can also be included where compatible equipment and dedicated backup circuits are installed.
USE CHEAPER ENERGY DAY AND NIGHT
Battery storage can reduce the amount of electricity you buy during expensive peak periods. Store surplus energy from your solar panels or charge the battery using a suitable off-peak electricity tariff, then use that stored energy later in the day or overnight. We can install battery storage alongside new solar panels or integrate compatible equipment with an existing solar PV system.
